Our Family Story...
Following her passing, Marie's family, Simone and Jonn Epplette, established the Lola Marie Foundation to honour her legacy. Inspired by her love for community and her dedication to helping others, the Foundation is committed to uplifting and supporting South Delta youth through programs, resources, and opportunities that empower them to thrive.

Through the help of donors, volunteers, and community partners, we strive to carry forward Marie's spirit of compassion, service, and hope, creating positive change for generations to come.

Family was at the heart of Marie’s life. Her only child, Simone, worked alongside her for 35 years, building a successful business that supported community youth programs.

She was a devoted grandmother to Chelsey Tunstall (Cody Tunstall), Joel Epplette (Olivia Epplette), and Hailey Epplette. From the moment they were born, Marie was a constant presence in their lives—guiding, encouraging, and supporting them as they grew into the remarkable adults they are today. Her hard work, love, wisdom, and family-first values continue to live on through each of them.
